The excitement of hunting and developing my own personal skills is a thrill I have learned a lot by studying the animals I hunt: learning their behaviors, patterns, weaknesses and habits. I have enjoyed the experience of teaching with excellent instructors in the NBEF program over the last 7 years and learned a lot of hunting tips from them. Sharing what I have learned as a hunter with others has given me much fulfillment. The right to hunt and being able to make my own decisions is important to me as well. Through being a hunter, I have gained a true understanding of the food chain and have appreciation for the fact that something gave up its life to provide me and my family with a meal. This is not something I am ashamed of in today’s politically incorrect world. I enjoy the company of hunters and hearing of their success stories and lessons learned. I am thankful for the friendships I have gained and for the family that supports me. Thank you to those who nominated me as a woman Bowhunter/archer. I hope to always have a positive influence upon those I meet I look forward to my new venture as a speaker and hope to be able to share my passion for hunting with others in what ever ways I am able to do so. |
