Michele Levqe
First, I need to say thank-you to Sheila Ogle for nominating me for the featured lady Bowhunter! I felt very honored to be nominated. So it is with deep gratitude that I will accept this honor.
When I first became involved with WomenHunters at the ATA show in 2003, I was excited to just be a part of this wonderful group of women who bow/ gun hunted, trapped, bird hunted, and just plain enjoyed the outdoors. It felt so great to know that so many other women were enjoying the outdoors as much as I did!
Since my joining the club in February 2003, I have become a Writer, been added to the Pro-Staff and currently hold the title of Vice President of Public Relations for the WomenHunters club. Wow, how things can change in three years!
Before WomenHunters I had always made it my goal to help women and children get involved in bow hunting and the outdoors. I promise you that I will continue to do so in the years to come.
Most of you may know that when I’m not hunting… I am a Flight Attendant. While on my trips, I always run into all kinds of hunters. I am always giving them my business card and sending them to the WomenHunters® web site! I always tell them to check it out, and if they have any questions, to please contact me. (My cell number is on my card)
Being very involved in the archery industry makes it easier for me to promote WomenHunters and you can be reassured that I’m doing it as much as I can!
Last but not least, best of hunting to you all, shoot straight, and always remember “The Trophy is in the eye of the Beholder.”
Sincerely,
Michele Leqve (XTREME BWHNTRSS)
